Parents
Parenting can be both incredibly rewarding and deeply challenging, and as a parent of two children, I understand firsthand the complexities of raising kids in today’s world. It can be messy, complicated, frustrating and tender.
With over seven years of experience working at a children’s mental health agency and specialized training in attachment-based approaches like Circle of Security* and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), I support parents in understanding themselves and their children on a deeper level. I help parents make sense of "gentle parenting" strategies, balancing nurturing connection with maintaining clear boundaries and confident leadership. Having facilitated numerous parenting groups, I am passionate about helping parents strengthen their skills, process their early attachment histories, and enhance their mental well-being.
I know your child is often at the forefront of your mind, but during sessions you will be the focus. We will work together to better understand your needs and how to support you to be a more satisfied parent. Together, we’ll work to build stronger parent-child relationships while fostering your confidence and connection as both a parent and an individual.
*For those who are interested, I offer an individual package of 8-sessions of Circle of Security Parenting. This is an attachment based parenting course for parents of children ages 0-6 years. Please see my Services page for more information.
